Synchronous belt drive is composed of an annular belt with equal spacing teeth on the inner surface and a belt wheel with corresponding teeth. When running, the belt teeth and the tooth groove of the belt wheel mesh to transfer motion and power. It is a new type of belt drive that integrates the advantages of belt drive and chain drive gear drive respectively. Note for installation and use of synchronous belt and synchronous wheel: reduce the center distance of the belt wheel, if there is a tension wheel should be loosened first, and then adjust the center distance after installing the belt. For the transmission of fixed center distance, the belt wheel should be removed first, and then the belt wheel is installed on the shaft.
Installation should also pay attention to the following points:
(1) When installing the synchronization belt, if the center distance of the two belts can be moved, the center distance of the belt must be shortened first, and then reset the center distance after the synchronization belt is installed. If there is a tensioning wheel, first loosen the tensioning wheel, then install the synchronization belt, and then install the tensioning wheel.
When installing the synchronization belt to the belt wheel, remember not to exert too much force, or use a screwdriver to pry the synchronization belt, in order to prevent the appearance of the tensile layer of the synchronization belt imperceptible breaking phenomenon. When designing the belt wheel, it is best to choose the structure that the two axes can move close to each other. If the structure does not allow it, it is best to install the synchronous belt and the belt wheel together on the corresponding shaft.
